Home Sweet Home - Tambourine Bay
We are situated next to a Nature Reserve which is bordered by mangroves. They like to spread their air roots and spray their seeds out into the adjacent residential waterfront. Over the last couple of days our neighbors began pulling out the young shoots and picking up the seeds when the tide was out (at the request of our overseas landlord). So i joined helping in for a couple of hours until the young mangroves were cleared out and any risk to our future views was hopefully thwarted.

As mangroves are considered "lungs" of our planet, it seems rather suicidal to get rid of any at this stage of global warming, but hey, this is prime Sydney real estate!
