Christmas Day, Tambourine Bay, Sydney. We were so blessed being in our little back water on a perfect summer day. I missed my overseas family, though, my sister Chris, Warren & the girls & the boys, and Peter, Sarah, & Jeremy.
We ate too much and probably drank just enough, as you begin to do, getting older, and realising the consequences :)
Daniel cooked a delicious turkey with fennel stuffing, Judy made her famous mango mousse, and the Bolstlers & Mike contributed "designer" salads - nothing run-of-the-mill would do when we can have almost anything we want. I hold hope for improvement in the suffering of people in other parts of the world in the coming year. May tough times somehow bring people closer together....
