Last night Daniel and I saw "La Clique" at the Famous Spiegel Tent. This show in this venue is the hit of the Sydney Festival. It's funny, it's raunchy, it's fun. There's a most remarkable strong man act, and also the rubber man, Captain Frodo who can put himself through a tennis racket head. With the help of dislocations and double joints....Painful to watch even for a yogini!

I love this image of rain on the bay. It's so rare. Even tho' the rainfall was sparse, I feel like I'm appreciative of each drop. The lorrikeet couple came and sat on our balcony to get out of the rain and didn't even pester us for apple. In central Australia there is much flooding at this time, and the rainwater tanks are full enough for a year. When did we get so dry on the coast?

Friday evening (and for the second time this week) Daniel and I were at the Opera House for Sydney Festival entertainment.
The environs of the Opera House are stunning, with Luna Park across the Harbour, the intrepid climbers of the bridge, and the merry-makers attending what looks like a meet (meat?) market.

Susan, Carmen, Annie - three of the four participants in a Yoga Day, down south of Sydney in Wombarra (which the photographer, Eve, led.
Annie cooked a perfect light lunch of barbequed fish.
The result of the ceremonial foot baths, asana practice, relaxation, a pinch of philosophy, restorative poses, and yoga nidra was 4 very renewed yoginis.

A tiny unfamiliar boat moored in Tamourine Bay was visited by the Maritime officer seen here on Monday. Heather got out her telescope to snoop and said the officer was wearing an ambulance badge. After fussing around for about 30 min. she was on her way, and we never knew what it was all about. The little boat is gone now.

Sensible, day-glo footwear for a muddy first day of the Woodford Music Festival. These plastic shoes, apart from being just gorgeous, weigh scarcely anything!
Loyal Ash Grunewald fans overflow onto the grassy knoll....
Mud wrestling can be so exhausting....
Entertainers: Sensitive New Age Cowboy & Po'Girl, good ole' John Williamson, and 17-yr. old Amy .....
