Two weeks ago Daniel and I went to Camp Cove (Millers Point) to see "Vivid" which was part of the winter event Luminous. There was a re-enactment of a early settlers ship that caught fire and sank in this spot. The musical group "Coda" accompanied the harbour performance. There were aboriginal dancers and a huge crowd turned out for a winter's (mild temperatures) night. Here are a couple of images of "luminousity". The Opera House lighting kept changing patterns and colours.

Early this week, the big crane delivered more steel, and the Great Room deck appeared. The muddy slope got the better of the crane, and Matt had to get a big vehicle to stop the crane from disappearing into the pine forest below....

We all walked from Coogee to Bondi and rewarded ourselves with snacks at the Gelato Bar, i.e. Hungarian bean soup, and walnut and poppyseed strudels and coffee. I was rooted afterwards but happy to have finished (and been rewarded). Great company....

While Daniel enjoyed his birthday shiatsu with Mardi, I spent the afternoon in the sun at Bronte Beach and visiting with Karen Burn.

Photo via Mitchells Island to Vancouver and back to Oz, taken by one of the house construction labourers. Rain has slowed things down but the underneath of the house is getting finished off.

A drab Cinderella at most times, the Christmas cactus at the moment looks like she's all decked out for the Ball, wowing all arrivals at our front door....

Have you missed my flowers? These very conveniently presented themselves today on the jade plant on our balcony.
