The masked lapwing is back after a long winter's break. Usually they come in pairs but his partner seems to be missing at the moment. They have a distinctive sharp call - keeck-keeck-keeck.... Especially close to sunrise....

Steady stream of viewers at "Sculpture in the Park" yesterday at sunset. The exhibition should more accurately be called "Sculpture on the Sea and Cliffs, on the Beach, and in the Park".... How fortunate to see such a creative output, all for free.

Heather & Rick back from abroad stayed at Wharf Rd. while we headed up to the Bellingen Carnivale. Then we rendez-vous-ed with them at Mitchells Island.
