Sydney seems to be inundated with spiders at this time of year. Here's a pretty one from our garden.....

Bogged? Blogged? No, Judy has had a beautiful and invigorating start to Friday, out on the Bay and River.

A day of birds yesterday afternoon....The heron strode through our mudflats while the masked lapwing was in a flap, bathing. And the kooka tried very hard to be king of the bush.

The Bay looks brown with all the run-off of rain we've had over the last 4 days. So, you can imagine, a lorikeet is a colourful mood enhancer on an otherwise glum day....

Sun + concurrent shower = rainbow. Can you see the effervescing traces of it?

Our boat shed has been suffering from a surfeit of water craft since Mike got his sleek, shiny kayak. So here is the Canadian canoe going up for sale on ebay. Any takers?

Minutes ago, after the showers of earlier today....

Jordy used to be a cat of the streets in Rozelle when the Inner West was his home.
In his more recent digs of Tambourine Bay, he has evolved into a rather sedentary and sooky feline.
In Jordy's former life, I'm told he lost his purr as a result of going missing during a big storm. (A mystery as to the particulars of the incident.) I'm pleased to say, indolent, sensual and tranquil living seem to have now restored occasional vibrations to his vocal chords.

Hooray! We signed our lease renewal today. We get to stay in beautiful Tambourine Bay another 20 months!!
