Our "tame" lorrikeet brought his mate and four other birds showed up who had to be chased away from his territory.

Here are the beautiful women of my group at our recent Carrickalinga Beach gathering in South Australia.
Celebration of Sue's (belated) birthday....
I love how radiant Diane Hodge looks and feels.
There's Janet stalking a washed-up sea lion (still alive) on the beach....

My first view of this morning, low tide in the early light.

Can you imagine how this much mud smells?
I've grown to love the lowland earthy fragrance.

It's odd but the longer we've lived here, the more attached I've gotten.
I thought I might get jaded, but it's the reverse. I'm wringing out every possible pleasure out of every possible moment.
13 months to go....

Daniel captures pelican on camera, which is a rare visitor on our Bay waters.

This morn's lavender-hued low tide....

I think the blue dinghy makes for an attractive contrast necessary for an interesting image.
Contrast = difference

Yoga is interesting because there's the possibility of improvement.
Start with tight hamstrings or a bad back and end up with flexibility and ease in your body.
Would yoga be compelling if there were no nothing to change?
Would it be all white dinghys?

Daniel says I should write about yoga.
How does it relate to these images though?
Art. Yoga is art, an art, creative, expresses beauty.
This is what I do - yoga. After so many years it defines who I am.
Objects reflected in the water, captured as they reflect me.

These two clowns have us wrapped around their little beaks. For one thing, they are so noisy that only a deaf person could ignore them. And they've figured out that we have three levels, three balconies, and three different couples to beg from.
Isn't the feathering pattern amazing? I would like to paint him!

I love this photo that David took. You can scarcely even tell that's it's me, but I know.

I'm enjoying the delicious feeling of being on the water on my little surf ski in the warm weather.
The air is saturated with moisture, and then it poured down rain about 15 minutes later.

Looking out towards the background of the image, you can see the Lane Cove Rive between the Rowing Club shed and the bush beyond....

Low-tide feeding time....

I had to work at it a little more today to find an interesting composition. You would think it's enough to have a beautiful view. But now I'm thinking of how my photos might look as paintings since I have started my art course. This image is particularly lovely....

I never take this view for granted. If you look carefully, you'll see our avian friends in the shadows of our verandah.

What an amazing neighborhood! Luxury yachts that our neighbors board right out their back doors.

In the early morning the rowers are out practising. I have to be very quick to knock off a photo because they are out of my frame before I can focus my camera.

Sigh...and here's our back yard looking inviting as always....

These two are regulars every morning and evening. They come to each of the three levels of balconies in succession, and if one of the household members doesn't know they've already been fed, they score extra meals. It's very very difficult to say no to them.

We all had THE BEST time! Life is good!

Now, you've probably been wondering what the photographer looks like, aren't you?
Well, here she is!
And here is the subject of her photography, our home, "The Ville".

Daniel and I walked in Warraroon Reserve this morning before work. There was a little measly bit of rain last night but not much of a sign of it around. Still, the incoming tide & the morning light cast beautiful shapes and reflections. We're so blessed to have all this around us.
