I visited Monica and Stuart today to do a sound recording of my yoga adjustments book. At the beginning of the session, I was competing with the neighbourhood gardener and his lawn mower. Eventually we laid down most of the first section of the book :)

In the hot weather we've been having, these delicate wisteria blooms won't last long.
The fragrance is awesome....

Daniel & I went to 2 houses today in the Open Day for Sustainable Houses. These images are from Lucinda's home which includes a permaculture garden that was very impressive, as well as two worm farms (close-up in photo number 4). Solar panels on house rooftop.
We also visited the iconic house of Michael Mobs who was in the vanguard of small footprinters (1996)....

The bouganvillea plant is from the Village Green roof top terrace. It never bloomed and suffered the most terrible winds, but never died either. Many years later now, it hasn't stopped blooming, thanks probably to dosing with Bakashi juice (a kind of compost), and the company of many other happy plants all around.

Sceggs/Macquarie University boad shed seems to be under construction,
after the arsonist's fire destroyed in about 18 months ago.....Part of our view
from 1 Wharf Rd.

Jacaranda leaves are almost as transfixing in the golden sunset as the purple blossoms in Oct./Nov.....
