Daniel & I went to 2 houses today in the Open Day for Sustainable Houses. These images are from Lucinda's home which includes a permaculture garden that was very impressive, as well as two worm farms (close-up in photo number 4). Solar panels on house rooftop.
We also visited the iconic house of Michael Mobs who was in the vanguard of small footprinters (1996)....

The bouganvillea plant is from the Village Green roof top terrace. It never bloomed and suffered the most terrible winds, but never died either. Many years later now, it hasn't stopped blooming, thanks probably to dosing with Bakashi juice (a kind of compost), and the company of many other happy plants all around.
