Lower level paint applied today....called barramundi. It "earths" the house very well, I think....

Tambourine Bay has been blown to bits over the last weeks, rain and dust, as well. It's been hard to get a placid photo. And Sydney's beautiful jacarandas have come into flower and practically the the next day, the blooms are carpeting the lawns.
Our tree is always one of the last to flower....

Eve & Daniel attended Zoe & Abi's 33 rd birthday at Qirkz, an underground music venue in Marrickville. The twins were yoga students from Sydney Girls High School when they were 15, and then they caught up with me at Simply Yoga last year.

Heather and Rick have been hard at work installing the metal cords on the decks - in the windy, cold weather of this last weekend....

Our women's group met at Gosia's new apartment in Manly after the commemoration of her mother and brother's recent deaths which we staged at Long Reef Beach. Very sad....

I've heard that there are a few out there who are genuinely interested in looking at photos of our kitchen as it is evolving in our new home. So this should satisfy the lurkers. A huge walk-in pantry (with a window even) lies behind the kitchen back wall. You can see the passthrough that is meant to hide small appliances.

Can you imagine how thrilling it was to have not a skerrick of wind on the water, after the gale forces and dust storms of previous days? Ah, the serenity...

Last night I was celebrated by the team at Simply Yoga (plus partners) at Nilgiri's restaurant....This is part of the on-going farewells that are happening in the 5 weeks or so before we depart Sydney for the country life....




Vim Lane, John Norris, moi, Jane Thomas, Raewyn Twynham, and Marian McNaught....Our yoga students have some of the best looking yoga teachers in the Southern Hemisphere, don't you think?

Young Max used to be a regular at our Berringa yoga camps, and now he's 14 years old! Young Abi used to be one of my teen-age students at Sydney Girls High, and now she's a 30 yr. old with a child. Sigh....
