As you can see a perfect day in Paradise. I started this blog 16 months ago when we first moved in to Longueville.
I did it because I wanted to take a few moments every day to settle and remind myself of the beauty of our location.
I've come to realise that having the daily assignment doesn't necessarily lead to appreciation. It requires bringing appreciation to the way one views. Funny that!

Faez and birthday girl Susan (Judy' sis) at our Indian dinner on Sat. night. The menu: Entrée - Chicken Shashlick (Chicken wingettes marinated in yogurt, garlic, ginger and tandoori spice and grilled, served hot garnished with fresh coriander and a creamy mint sauce); Main -Aloo Palak (English spinach panfried with potatoes and pickled garlic): Methi Dhal (Toover dhal cooked with dried fenugreek leaves, turmeric and shah zeera, tempered with panfried onions at the end); Fish Pulao –(Dill flavoured Spicy rice layered with fish) and home-made Roti (Hot off the pan rotis)
