On Boxing Day, we "Shedders" had our own workshop, facilitated by Robert Browne, to save our fading vision of building on our land. Miraculously, the sinking ship has been resurrected and we're setting course again for a 2009 completion.

Christmas Day, Tambourine Bay, Sydney. We were so blessed being in our little back water on a perfect summer day. I missed my overseas family, though, my sister Chris, Warren & the girls & the boys, and Peter, Sarah, & Jeremy.
We ate too much and probably drank just enough, as you begin to do, getting older, and realising the consequences :)
Daniel cooked a delicious turkey with fennel stuffing, Judy made her famous mango mousse, and the Bolstlers & Mike contributed "designer" salads - nothing run-of-the-mill would do when we can have almost anything we want. I hold hope for improvement in the suffering of people in other parts of the world in the coming year. May tough times somehow bring people closer together....

Last Sunday was BKS 90th birthday and there were celebrations all over the world. I joined Annie in her Centennial Park studio
for yoga practice with her students and they stayed for delicious snacks afterwards....

We heard a bird fly into our bedroom window, a junior kookaburra. He stayed on the window ledge for a couple of minutes, collecting his wits....enough time for Daniel to fire off a couple of shots.

I'm so excited by the landscaping that's happening at Mitchells Island, thanks to Heather & Rick. It's putting our own stamp on the land, such a beautiful spot!
